The Early years
The history of MDG brand dates back over 20 years from the early 1990’s. What started as computer sales from classified ads grew into a white-box personal computer retailer and manufacturer that caught the attention of consumers and competitors.

By 2002, at the time that article was written MDG had over 24 franchise locations throughout North America including several locations in Ontario, Quebec and New York. By 2006 MDG became the largest Canadian-owned personal computer manufacturer in with over 50+ stores nationwide. In addition, MDG has a strong history in corporate, educational and government market segments.
With over two decades of experience and the evolution growth of the internet MDG has evolved its business and adapted the E-Commerce approach reaching consumers across North America online. MDG abandoned traditional storefronts altogether to adopt a multi-national Web Store
allowing MDG to expands its in-house financing to reach more people who are looking to purchase brand name electronics and furniture such as Samsung, Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, ASUS, Acer, Toshiba, The Brick, and Steve Silver, to name a few, but cannot afford to make such a large purchase. Our easy in-house financing provides the flexibility of paying for the products you want at the price you deserve, but more importantly at a price you can afford. After all, we feel that everyone deserves the latest and greatest laptops, Desktops, Tablets, Furniture etc...

As of 2007 MDG was the largest client in Canada to both Microsoft and Intel. It was the help of Intel’s ESAA program that helped MDG compete against multinational corporations such as Dell, HP and IBM to land a government contract. MDG has maintained its partnership with Intel from 2001 – present continuing to offer the latest technologies to the consumers.
